Kanzan
Kanzan are one of the most common cherry trees in Vancouver (after Akebono).They bloom in mid-April.
Each kanzan blossom has up to 25 dark pink petals. When the Kanzan petals fall, they create the most amazing "cherry blossom snow".
The leaves are copper and come up with the flowers.
